As 2010 comes to an end it is now time to make a clean sweep of my hard drives. If you are planning on purchasing prints from a previous session and/or have lost your CD’s from your previous session you will have until February 1, 2010 to contact me for prints or to repurchase CD’s. Make sure to check back for upcoming sales and New Year specials. Don’t forget to schedule your New Year’s Mini session now to receive HUGE savings and receive print credits.

It’s this time of year when you stay in a snuggle up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee. Yeah right…if I had the time. Sounds good though. Thing’s have been slow starting but now they are in full swing. We are planning a stay-at-home Christmas Eve with dinner and surprise’s to come. Robert’s mother will be spending Christmas Eve with us because she’s leaving for Aruba on Christmas Day. How lucky is she? We are planning an evening of cookie decorating, gingerbread house making, and we might open a gift or two. (WINK)
Shh…the girl’s don’t know it yet but they have a “new” friend that is planning on making an appearance before the holiday is threw. I got this wonderful idea from a fellow Facebook friend Michelle Day Wilson. This is how she explained it to me: “He is a 'scout' elf for Santa. He magically flies back to the North Pole every night to report on the child’s behavior. Her elf just happens to be crazy (like everyone else in their family) and does silly stuff each night.” Now don’t you think that is too cute? I found a $10 stuffed-doll at Wal-mart that I plan to accessorize to suite the holiday season and bring her out every year. Thank you so much Michelle. I have a feeling this will be a great addition to our family holiday traditions.

Thank you to everyone that participated in Sweet Graphix Design & Photography annual Wedding Give-A-Way contest. What a turn out. I wasn’t expecting 86 entries. I have to say that many of the stories were sweet and touching. I enjoyed reading all of them. I know EVERYONE is eagerly awaiting to know WHO won………..

Ok, let’s talk about how ridiculously COLD it was today. Regardless, Miss Savannah was a trooper during her session. We had many laugh’s during her session and I was even able to snag a couple shot’s of her dad, Jeremy McKaig. Thanks again guy’s for allowing me to photograph you. I had a blast!

The creator of Gracie’s Garden, Carissa Herzig, is in great need this holiday season. Due to an unfortunate financial fall-out (her husband’s current employer has not paid in over a month, nor does he plan on paying now), her family is facing eviction if they do not have rent money soon. Carissa’s own means of income through her crochet business has been hindered by a recent illness, preventing her from taking the orders necessary to keep up on the household expenses. They do not have a dime to their name, and will soon be without a home if help does not arrive. Carissa’s only wish for her family this Christmas is to have her children in their own home. Please help grant this Christmas wish for Gracie and her big brothers, Tristan and Payton. Even the smallest kindness will be the greatest blessing to this sweet little family.

Happy Holiday’s everyone from Sweet Graphix Design & Photography! I have been taking time off from session’s to enjoy this time with my family. My two little girls Jocelyn & Naomi are VERY excited about Santa coming and are very curious to discover just how he is gonna fit down our chimney. Explaining this is gonna be fun! Anyway, I have officially decided to cut my price’s in half for this ENTIRE month. Yep, you read it correctly, all session fee’s will be 50% OFF if booked and paid for during the month of December. This means you schedule and pay for your session but you can schedule it for a later date. I will be back from holiday break on January 3, 2011. So you can schedule your session anytime after that.
Also, the Design Shop will officially open on January 3, 2011. If you are NOT following my website/blog you will not receive coupon’s or hear about current seasonal contests and give-a-way like our current contest, Wedding Give-A-Way . I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and survived “BLACK FRIDAY!” I have been busy at work creating all kinds of new designs, templates, and revamping things around here.
